Marking knife
Description
Avaliable here

Forged from C70 carbon steel, this tool is ideal for marking out joinery and carpentry work. Its octagonal profile allows it to be held just as comfortably as a standard pencil.
Featuring a double-edged blade, it is suitable for use by both left- and right-handed individuals, and works effectively in both push and pull strokes. It is the quintessential marking tool, utility knife, and general-purpose knife for the carpenter. The blunt, beveled end is actually a remnant of the forging process; this bevel remains after I cut the steel stock to length once forging is complete. It can serve as a lever for opening containers of wood finish or glue.
